Mike was appointed vice president of Technology in 2026. He joined Armstrong World Industries in 2004 and has held a series of leadership roles across innovation, engineering and operations.
Mike has more than 20 years of experience with the company and brings deep expertise in innovation, product development and technical leadership to his role. He is responsible for leading the Technology organization, advancing Armstrong’s innovation pipeline and strengthening the company’s technical capabilities to support long-term growth.
Prior to his current role, Mike served as senior director of Technology, where he led teams across research and development, new product development, quality and product stewardship. Earlier in his career, he held key leadership roles including director of Innovation and director of Capital Engineering, and began his tenure with Armstrong as a Six Sigma Black Belt, later advancing to Master Black Belt. Before joining Armstrong, he held roles in domestic and international operations and product development at NCR Corporation.
Mike holds a Master of Science in Chemical Engineering from Purdue University and a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from Thomas More University.
